AvA Yachts Announces Construction Update on NBA Star’s Superyacht
Overview
Turkish shipyard AvA Yachts has announced the launch of its 35 metre Infinity Nine, which hit the water in the Antalya Free Zone on August 5.
Commissioned by NBA star Tony Parker, she is the second in the shipyards series of Kando compact explorer yachts featuring a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and bulbous bow.
Characterised by contemporary styling, she has a full custom interior with six staterooms, including an upper deck master with its own private deck.
Speaking on the new launch, Atilla Küçükdiker the chairman and founder of AvA Yachts said: “This is such a proud day for the whole team at AvA Yachts and everyone involved with the construction of Infinity Nine. She is testimony to the outstanding skills of all the workers we have here in Antalya and a truly superb example of AvA Yachts’ exciting Kando series of contemporary explorer yachts.”
At 320 GT and with a range of over 6,000 nautical miles, Infinity Nine has a truly global focus. The crew quarters can accommodate a staff of six in three cabins, including a separate captain’s double cabin.
Other key features include an extended swim platform at the stern, gym on the upper deck and “radical” interior design, according to the yard.
Following delays relating to COVID and supply chain issues, the yard has thanked the owner for being so understanding. She will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
