AvA Yachts Announces Construction Update on NBA Star’s Superyacht

AvA Yachts has launched the second unit from its Kando 110 series: Infinity Nine. The 35-metre motor yacht made its first splash in the Antalya Free Zone, Turkey, last Friday.The yacht, Infinity Nine, was commissioned by Tony Parker, the ex-NBA star who retired in 2019 and now owns the professional French basketball team ASVEL. Parker was very much involved in the design of the 35-metre motor yacht, paying visits to the Turkish shipyard on a number of occasions with his build advisory team.AvA Yachts oversaw both her design and construction, opting for a build material of steel and aluminum and a general arrangement that can accommodate as many as 12 guests. In terms of performance, AvA Yachts equipped its yacht Infinity Nine with twin Volvo Penta engines that deliver enough power for a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 14 knots. When cruising, Infinity Nine boasts an impressive 6,000 nautical mile range.
